It really was time to find a new vet clinic for my man's best friend. Checked out a long list but selected Calimesa Vet Clinic based upon the hugely friendly, caring and helpful voice on the other end of the conversation. Wow...I called others who didn't answer the phone and never got back to me after leaving a lengthy message. So this was an awesome start. Kody's appointment was at 11 on a Saturday and upon arriving at 10:45, I experienced in person that same eagerness to help with a joyful smile staring back at me. Not just the welcoming face that greeted me but all the team members surrying about helping other pet lovers like myself. And since the last place Kody EVER wants be is at the vet, I was amazed by the gentleness and reassurance this team of caregivers shares with pet and human alike. From start to finish a totally joyful experience...well for me anyway...Kody would probably say tolerable...lol. This veterinary team won my business and I say a BIG thank you to all! Kody and I put our trust in your passion and commitment as guardians of Kody's health and well-being.

For what was a really difficult trip to put our old lab down, they really could not have been any kinder, more patient, and accommodating. I've been in vet waiting rooms with people waiting for euthanasia and it's so uncomfortable for everyone. They brought paperwork to my car and let me stay crying in my car privately til they had a room ready. I didn't have to sit there and try to make polite small talk to strangers in the waiting room during a really emotional time. The vet, Dr Ngo was very sweet. Even though it's part of their job, I imagine it's hard for them to see animals in pain and owners distraught. I really appreciated the way everyone handled me and my old pup.
